Daragram Piped Water Supply Project (DPWSP)

The Daragram Piped Water Supply Project was launched to provide safe drinking water to communities in Daragram, a region severely affected by arsenic and iron contamination in the underground water supply.

In partnership with the World Bank and the Social Development Foundation, the Masjid Council implemented the piped water system in 2005. This initiative has significantly improved access to clean drinking water for over 1,750 people from 420 families in the area.

By ensuring a consistent supply of safe water, this project has eliminated health risks associated with arsenic and iron contamination, improving the quality of life for local residents and enhancing public health in the region.
